1. Business & Services

Business Name: 2D Works

Service Type: Digital video editing and motion graphics services. This includes social media clip editing, motion graphics and animation production, brand video package creation, and video advertisement creative production.

Nature of Goods: All deliverables are digital files (MP4, MOV, ProRes, etc.). 2D Works does not sell physical goods of any kind. No physical return or shipping policy applies.

2. Orders & Project Scope

All projects are initiated by a written brief submitted via email to 2dworks.sl@gmail.com. Upon receipt of your brief, we will confirm the project scope, pricing, and timeline in writing before any payment is requested.

Payment Terms:

• Projects under $500: Full payment is required upfront before work begins.
• Projects over $500: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin. The remaining 50% is due upon delivery of the final files.
• Monthly retainer plans: Billed in full at the start of each billing cycle.

Work does not begin until the required payment has been received and confirmed. Scope changes requested after work has commenced may result in additional charges, which will be communicated and agreed upon in writing before proceeding.

4. Refund & Dispute Policy

4.1 Deposits
The 50% deposit paid at project start is non-refundable once work has commenced. The deposit compensates for the time reserved and initial creative work performed.

4.2 Completed Deliverables
If you are dissatisfied with the final deliverable after all included revision rounds have been used, you may request a partial refund of up to 50% of the total project fee. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of final file delivery by emailing 2dworks.sl@gmail.com with subject line "Refund Request – [Your Name/Invoice Number]" and a clear description of the issue. Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

4.3 Retainer Plans
Unused video credits from a given billing month do not roll over and are not refundable.

4.4 Dispute Resolution Process
To initiate a dispute, email us at 2dworks.sl@gmail.com with your order/invoice number and a full description of the issue. We will acknowledge your dispute within 2 business days and work to resolve it within 10 business days. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be escalated through your payment provider (Stripe) or applicable consumer protection mechanisms in your jurisdiction.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Cancellation by Client — One-Time Projects
You may cancel a project at any time by emailing us. The following conditions apply:

• Before work begins: Full refund of any amount paid, including deposit.
• After work begins but before delivery: The deposit (50%) is forfeited. If cancellation occurs after 75% of the work is complete (as reasonably assessed by 2D Works), the full project fee is due.

5.2 Cancellation by Client — Monthly Retainer
Monthly retainer plans may be cancelled by providing written notice via email at least 14 calendar days before the next billing date. Cancellations received after a billing cycle has started will not result in a refund for that month. The plan will not renew for the following month.

5.3 Cancellation by 2D Works
2D Works reserves the right to cancel any project at any time. In such cases, a full refund of all amounts paid will be issued within 10 business days. We will notify you promptly if we are unable to fulfill your project.

6. Revision Policy

Each package includes a specified number of revision rounds as described in our pricing. A single revision round consists of one set of consolidated feedback submitted in a single communication. Feedback must be specific and provided together — not in multiple separate messages.

Additional revision rounds beyond the included amount are available at $50 per round for standard packages. Studio retainer clients receive unlimited revision rounds at no additional cost.

7. Delivery & Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are stated per package and begin from the date that: (a) a complete brief and all required assets have been received, and (b) the required payment has been confirmed. Timelines are estimates and not guarantees. Delays may occur due to scope changes, late delivery of client assets, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any delays promptly.

8. Intellectual Property

Ownership of Final Files: Upon receipt of full and final payment, the client receives full ownership and all rights to the final delivered video files for commercial use.

Portfolio Rights: 2D Works retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio, website, and promotional materials unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing before the project begins.

Source Files & Project Files: All raw project compositions, templates, and source files created by 2D Works remain our intellectual property and are not included in standard deliverables unless a source file transfer is included in the selected package or purchased as an add-on.

9. Client-Supplied Materials

By submitting materials (footage, audio, images, logos, fonts, music, etc.) to 2D Works, you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use all such materials commercially. 2D Works is not liable for any copyright infringement claims, DMCA takedowns, or legal action arising from client-supplied content. It is the client's sole responsibility to clear all rights.

10. Promotions & Discounts

Any promotional offers, discount codes, or limited-time pricing offered by 2D Works are subject to the following terms:

• One promotion or discount code per client per transaction, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the offer.
• Promotions cannot be combined with other offers, discount codes, or packages unless the promotion explicitly states otherwise.
• Promotional pricing applies only to the specific service(s) named in the offer and is valid only during the stated promotional period.
• 2D Works reserves the right to modify, pause, or end any promotion at any time without prior notice.
• Promotional pricing is valid for new orders only and applies to the first order of the applicable service tier per client.
• Promotional offers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

11. Legal & Export Restrictions

Our services are provided from and in compliance with applicable United States law. Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that the video content we produce on their behalf complies with:

• The laws and regulations of their own country or jurisdiction
• Platform-specific terms of service (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Applicable advertising standards and regulations
• Any industry-specific content restrictions

2D Works does not produce content that is illegal, defamatory, pornographic, hateful, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of third parties. We reserve the right to decline any project at our sole discretion.

Export: Our deliverables are digital files. U.S. export control regulations (including EAR) may apply to certain international clients. By purchasing our services, you represent that you are not located in, or acting on behalf of any person or entity in, any country subject to U.S. government embargo or sanctions, and that you will comply with all applicable export laws.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 2D Works' total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. In no event shall 2D Works be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Florida, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
